With Velvet Stretch, Fischbacher 1819 is expanding its range with an innovative upholstery fabric that impresses with its technical sophistication and high-quality materiality. The dense 100% wool pile ensures a particularly soft, velvety feel and an impressive depth of colour. The 21 available natural and fluorescent colours underline the depth and expressiveness of the material.

Thanks to its elastic base fabric, Velvet Stretch adapts ideally to curved and organic shapes - a key feature for use in modern room concepts. With a Martindale of 45,000, the fabric is also suitable for intensive use in the home and contract sector.

"Velvet Stretch embodies the power of colour: bold, vibrant and rich. Ready to add depth and personality to any room. An invitation to use colour confidently and creatively"
Camilla D. Fischbacher, Creative Director of Fischbacher 1819.
Velvet Stretch was developed in response to the growing demands of interior architects and designers who are looking for functional solutions with a strong aesthetic impact. In current interior design, which is increasingly characterised by flowing shapes and organic lines, the new wool velvet offers optimum creative freedom.
Camilla D. Fischbacher, Creative Director of Fischbacher 1819, describes the fabric as ‘an invitation to use colour confidently and creatively’. Velvet Stretch stands for ‘the power of colour: bold, vibrant and rich’ - a textile solution that gives rooms depth and character.
